Hawaiian Pickled Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 10 small or medium onions, cut into wedges
    1 1/2 to 2 medium size red hot peppers, remove seeds
    2 Tbsp. Hawaiian rock salt (can substitute with regular rock salt)
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    approximately 2 c. dark cider vinegar
Preparation
    You will need 1 quart jar with lid.
