Secret Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 c. plain flour
1 stick margarine
1/4 c. shortening
1 c. water
3 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 unbeaten eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Mix the sugar and flour together. In boiler, place the margarine, shortening, water and cocoa and bring to a boil. Pour this hot mixture over the sugar and flour and blend well. Add the buttermilk, eggs, vanilla, soda and salt. Mix well. (Batter will be thin.) Pour into 11 x 16 x 2-inch pan and bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes only.
