Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 or 5 potatoes
    3 carrots
    1 medium onion
    6 pieces bacon or chopped ham
    6 slices american cheese
    2 tsp parsley flakes
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Peel, wash, and cut potatoes in small chunks. Peel, wash, and slice carrots. Peel, wash, and chop onions. Place in big pot and cover with water. Cook on medium heat for 45 minutes or until vegetables are tender. If using bacon, fry bacon crisp, crumble. Add bacon or ham to soup, along with rest of ingredients. Cook for 20 minutes longer.
