Vegetable Beef Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean beef
    2 1/4 c. tomato juice
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/4 tsp. chili powder
    2 bay leaves
    2 c. tomatoes
    1 c. diced celery
    1 c. whole kernel corn
    1 c. sliced carrots
    1 c. diced potatoes
    1 c. limas
    1 c. green beans
Preparation
    Combine meat, juice, onion, seasoning and 6 cups water in kettle.
    Cover and simmer 2 hours.
    Cut meat from bones into large cubes.
    Strain broth and skim off fat.
    Add meat and vegetables to broth.
    Cover and simmer 1 hour.
    Serves 8.
