Crullers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. oleo
    1 c. white sugar
    2 eggs, well beaten
    4 c. flour
    3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. cream
Preparation
    Cream the oleo and sugar thoroughly. Add eggs and beat well. Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with cream to creamed mixture.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Place dough on floured board. Pat and roll to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut into 6 x 1-inch strips. Twist dough and press ends together.
    Fry a few at a time in deep fryer at 360\u00b0 until brown. Drain and dust with powdered sugar. Makes 2 dozen.
