Spaghetti Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. fine spaghetti, broken in 2-inch pieces
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 egg, beaten
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/3 c. green pepper, chopped
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1 jar Ragu
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    4 oz. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
    1 c. small curd cottage cheese
Preparation
    Cook spaghetti; drain and stir in butter, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and egg.
    Spread in 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Saute beef, onion and green pepper in oil.
    Drain.
    Stir in sauce, sugar, oregano and garlic salt.
    Spread cottage cheese over spaghetti.
    Top with meat mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with Mozzarella and bake 10 minutes more.
    Let stand 15 minutes.
    Cut into serving pieces.
