Oysters Kirkpatrick - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 Tbsp. butter (unsalted)
    8 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
    1/2 c. chili sauce
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice, freshly squeezed
    1 tsp. Marsala or sherry
    1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
    24 oysters (on half shell)
    Parmesan cheese, grated
Preparation
    Melt 6 tablespoons of the butter, then combine with bacon, chili sauce, lemon juice, Marsala and Tabasco sauce. Dot each oyster with remainder of butter, then broil until edges begin to scallop. Top oysters with sauce mixture. Sprinkle with Parmesan and continue to broil until mixture begins to bubble and Parmesan browns slightly.
