Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 eggs, beaten
    3 c. milk
    1/2 c. plus a little sugar
Preparation
    Beat eggs and add milk and sugar; mix well.
    Pour in a buttered casserole dish and put 2 1/2 slices bread on top.
    Let bread soak up and sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0 or until nice browned and a knife comes out clean.
    Eat warm or cold.
