Banana Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    1/2 tsp. banana extract
    2 tsp. vanilla
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. soda
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. buttermilk or 1/2 c. sweet milk and 1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    6 small bananas
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Spray and flour a tube pan.
    In large bowl, add sugar, shortening, flavors and eggs.
    Beat and then add flour gradually.
    Add soda and salt.
    Beat and then add the buttermilk.
    Stir and add bananas and pecans.
    Beat well.
    Pour into tube pan.
    You will have a little leftover, so you can pour that into a little bread pan (make sure it is greased and floured). Bake both for 1 hour in the oven.
