Surprise Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
3 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix.
Roll thin and fill with jelly.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 or 20 minutes.
