Ingredients

1 c. lentils
1/2 c. celery, cut up
1 clove garlic, cut up
1/2 carrot, cut up
macaroni (ditalini)
Preparation

Measure a cup of lentils; put in a pot of water. Bring to a boil; add celery, garlic and carrot. Let it cook about 2 hours. Boil macaroni. When macaroni is cooked al dente (not mushy), combine it with the lentil mixture. Add grated Romano cheese and enjoy.
