ice cream
Cool Whip
Preparation

Slice angel food cake crosswise twice.
Remove top two layers. On top of the bottom layer, place softened ice cream (flavor of your choice).
Then place another layer of cake and spread softened ice cream on top.
Top with remaining layer of cake.
Frost the cake with Cool Whip.
Place ice cream cake in the freezer until ready to serve.
For a special treat, use chocolate ice cream and frost cake with chocolate Cool Whip.
Makes a great summer dessert!
