Lemon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. water
3 Tbsp. margarine
4 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 1/3 tsp. grated lemon rind, if desired
3 egg yolks
Preparation

Mix sugar, cornstarch, and water in saucepan.
Using whisk, mix well and add egg yolks.
Cook until mixture boils 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Blend in margarine, juice, and rind, if desired.
Let cool.
Pour into baked pie shell.
Top with meringue or cool whip.
