Fresh Strawberry-Rhubarb Pie - cooking recipe

9-inch pastry (2)
1 1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
2 c. rhubarb, cut in 1-inch pieces
2 c. fresh strawberries, sliced
2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
Prepare pastry.
Stir together sugar and flour; toss with fruits.
Pour into pastry; dot with butter.
Top and crimp with second crust.
Sprinkle top with sugar.
Cover edge with 2 to 3-inch strip of foil to prevent burning.
Remove foil the last 15 minutes of baking.
Bake for 40 to 50 minutes, or until golden or juices begin to bubble through slits you have made in top of crust.
