Creamed Turkey In Confetti Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    1/3 c. margarine
    1/4 c. enriched flour
    1 1/2 c. turkey broth
    1 1/2 c. evaporated milk
    2 tsp. salt
    2 slightly beaten egg yolks
    3 c. diced turkey
    1 (6 oz.) can broiled, sliced mushrooms, drained
Preparation
    Cook onion in margarine until tender, but not brown.
    Blend in flour.
    Slowly stir in broth and milk.
    Add salt.
    Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture thickens.
    Stir small amount of hot mixture into egg yolks, return to hot mixture, cook and stir over low heat about 1 minute.
    Add turkey and mushrooms; heat just until hot through.
    Let set.
    Prepare rice.
