Ingredients

1 1/2 c. unsweetened apple juice
3/4 tsp. lemon juice
6 whole cloves
1 stick cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. unflavored gelatin
1/3 c. cold water
sugar substitute to equal 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation

Combine juices, cloves and cinnamon in heavy pan.
Bring to a boil and simmer 10 minutes.
Then, soak gelatin in cold water. Remove juice from heat; discard cloves and cinnamon.
Add gelatin and sugar substitute; mix well to dissolve.
Pour into 2 hot, clean 1/2 pint jars.
Cover lightly until cool, then cover tightly and store in the refrigerator.
