Polish Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 c. Crisco oil
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
    4 to 5 large cooking apples, chopped
Preparation
    Cream together sugar, eggs and oil.
    Sift together all dry ingredients.
    Mix apples and creamed mixture alternately with dry ingredients.
    Add nuts.
    Pour into greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
    Bake for 50 minutes at 350\u00b0.
