Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. ripe tomatoes (8 1/4 lb., peeled and cored)
    2/3 c. chopped onions
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    5 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    2 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. curry powder
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Put tomatoes and onions through a food chopper.
    Add all ingredients.
    Boil 2 hours or until thick, stirring frequently to keep from scorching.
    As soon as sauce is thick as desired, pour into sterilized jars and seal.
