Quiche Lorraine(Makes 2 Pies!) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. bacon, cooked into small bits
1 c. shredded Swiss cheese
1/8 c. minced onion
4 eggs
2 c. half and half
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Prick bottom and sides of pie shells.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Let cool.
Combine ingredients and mix in blender.
Pour into cooled pie shells.
Bake, uncovered, at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes until knife comes out clean.
Let stand 15 to 30 minutes before serving.
Serves 6 to 8.
