Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can green beans, drained
    1/4 c. kidney beans (optional)
    dash of pepper
    1/8 c. oil
    1/2 c. wax beans (optional)
    1/2 onion, sliced in rings
    dash of salt
    1/8 c. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Mix beans, onion, salt and pepper in a 1 1/2-quart bowl.
    Add oil, vinegar and sugar.
    Mix well; cover and refrigerate several hours, stirring occasionally.
