Layered Cauliflower Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cauliflower
    1 medium head iceberg lettuce, torn in bite size pieces
    1 large purple onion, chopped
    1/2 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
    1 c. mayonnaise
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Cut cauliflower into flowerets.
    Layer lettuce, onion, cauliflower and bacon in a 3-quart bowl.
    Combine mayonnaise, sugar and cheese.
    Spread evenly over top, sealing to edge of bowl.
    Sprinkle with more cheese.
    Refrigerate.
    Toss gently before serving.
    Yields 8 to 10 servings.
