Savannah Oysters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. oysters
    1 c. chopped celery
    12 oz. Ritz crackers, crushed
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 c. heavy cream
Preparation
    Butter shallow casserole dish.
    Layer 1/3 of crackers. Carefully place half of oysters on top of crackers and half of celery.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Place another layer of crackers, rest of oysters and celery.
    Top with crackers.
    Just before baking, add cream.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
