Hallie'S Hens - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Cornish hens
    1 box chicken Rice-A-Roni
    2 c. water
    1 can cream of chicken soup
Preparation
    Split hens down middle.
    Brown rice only 15 minutes in large Pyrex dish at 375\u00b0.
    In separate bowl, mix water, package of seasoning from Rice-A-Roni and chicken soup.
    After rice browns, lower oven to 350\u00b0; put hens over top of rice (will sizzle).
    Pour mixture over hens; cover and cook 1 hour.
    Uncover 30 minutes to brown.
    Excellent side dish with this:
    cut up fresh apples with poppy seed dressing.
