Mexican Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn meal
    1 c. milk
    1 (17 oz.) can cream-style corn
    1/2 c. bacon drippings
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 small can green chopped chiles
Preparation
    Mix corn meal, milk, cream-style corn and bacon drippings; set aside.
    Brown the ground beef and drain.
    Place 1/2 meal mixture in a cast-iron skillet.
    Next place meat, chopped onion, cheese and green chiles.
    Top with rest of corn meal mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
    Slice like pie when serving.
    Top with sour cream, guacamole, hot sauce and black olives (things you like on Mexican food).
