Spareribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. spareribs, cut in 2-inch pieces across the bone
    2 Tbsp. dry sherry
    4 Tbsp. soy sauce
    6 Tbsp. cider vinegar
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    10 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Place all ingredients in a large skillet.
    Cover and simmer for 40 minutes.
    Serve hot.
