Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. all-purpose flour
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. sugar
    3/4 c. shortening
    1/2 c. warm water
    2 pkg. yeast
    3 Tbsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Dissolve salt, sugar and yeast in warm water. Mix flour and baking powder. Cream the shortening; mix with yeast mixture. Add buttermilk, then stir in flour mixture, mixing well. Place in large bowl and cover. Put in refrigerator and use as needed. Makes 6 dozen biscuits. Roll out on floured surface; using a large biscuit cutter, cut out circles and fold over. Place on slightly greased cookie sheets and bake at 400\u00b0 in oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
