Viola Scott'S Lima Beans And Bacon Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. (10 oz. each) frozen fordhood lima beans
    12 slices bacon, browned
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 1/2 c. shredded Monterey Jack or mild Cheddar cheese
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    dash of Worcestershire sauce
Preparation
    Cook lima beans in 1 1/2 cups boiling salted water 15 minutes; drain, reserving 1/2 cup of liquid.
    In a skillet, fry bacon until half cooked.
    With a slotted spoon remove bacon to paper towels to drain.
    Cook onion and celery in bacon fat until softened.
    Toss together lima beans, onion, celery, cheese, pepper, sauce and reserved liquid.
    Turn into a lightly greased casserole dish. Sprinkle top with the crumbled bacon.
    Bake, uncovered, in a 350\u00b0 oven about 30 minutes or until the top is browned.
