Pickled Bananas (Relish) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 green bananas
    juice of 1 lime
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 tsp. chopped chives
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
    3 cucumbers
Preparation
    Boil bananas in their skins until tender, about 12 minutes. Remove skins.
    Prepare pickle by combining lime juice, onion, chives, salt and pepper in a bowl.
    Slice bananas and add them to juice, coating well.
    Cover bowl and let stand at least 2 hours, tossing bananas in mix every 30 minutes.
    Before serving, peel, core and chop cucumbers and garnish relish with cucumbers.
