Italian Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. malt syrup or sugar
    1/3 c. nonfat milk
    2 1/2 c. cold water (70 to 75~)
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1/2 c. cool water
    6 c. hard wheat bread flour, or a little more
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
Preparation
    In a small bowl, mix the salt, malt syrup, milk and 2 1/2 cups of water.
    Stir to dissolve the malt which is heavy and thick and set aside.
