Leg Of Lamb With Plum Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (4 to 5 lb.) leg of lamb
    salt and pepper
    1 (1 lb.) can or jar (2 c.) purple plums
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/2 tsp. basil (dried)
Preparation
    Place lamb, fat side up, on rack in shallow roasting pan. Season with salt and pepper.
    Roast in slow oven (325\u00b0) for 2 1/2 to 3 hours (meat thermometer 175\u00b0 to 180\u00b0).
