Chili Rellenos Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground chuck
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 (4 oz.) cans green chilis
1 1/2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar
1 1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
4 beaten eggs
several dashes hot pepper sauce (if desired)
Preparation

Brown ground chuck and onion in skillet; drain off fat. Sprinkle meat with 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Place 1/2 of chilis in 10 x 6 x 1 1/2-baking dish.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Top with meat mixture.
Arrange remaining chilis over meat.
