Mexican Skillet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1 c. minced onion
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    1 lb. ground beef
    4 tsp. chili powder
    1 c. tomato juice
    1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans
    1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
    1 (17 oz.) can whole kernel corn
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Heat oil in a large skillet.
    Briefly cook onion, green pepper and garlic in oil.
    Push to one side of skillet.
    Add ground beef and stir until meat is no longer pink.
    Stir in chili powder.
    Mix all ingredients together well.
    Add tomato juice, rice, the liquid from the kidney beans and corn and oregano.
    Stir; bring to boil. Cover and reduce heat to low.
    Simmer for 25 minutes.
    Stir in corn and beans.
    Cover and heat for 5 minutes.
    Sprinkle cheese on top.
    Cover and heat until cheese is melted.
