Ingredients

5 large eggs
2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1/2 gal. homogenized milk
1 pt. whipping cream
Preparation

Beat eggs in a large bowl with an electric mixer until thick and lemon colored.
Add sugar, gradually, beating until mixture is thick, smooth and creamy.
Add all other ingredients, then your choice of flavor variation, in the order listed.
Do not cook! Pour mixture into freezer, leaving 2 to 3 inches at top for expansion.
Freeze as stated on ice cream maker.
