Pickled Beets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can sliced beets
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    1 stick cinnamon
Preparation
    Drain juice from beets; add water to make 1 cup.
    Add vinegar, sugar and cinnamon; bring to a boil.
    Pour over beets.
    Marinate several hours or overnight in refrigerator.
    Part of the liquid may be poured off when served.
    Makes 4 servings.
