Festive Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. evaporated canned milk
    1/2 c. margarine
    dash of salt
    12 large marshmallows
    6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix first 4 ingredients in heavy saucepan.
    Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat to boil.
    Boil and stir 5 minutes more.
    Take off heat.
    Stir in marshmallows until melted.
    Stir in semi-sweet chocolate chips next.
    Stir in chopped nuts and vanilla. Spread in a buttered 8-inch pan.
    Cool.
    Cut in pieces.
    Makes about 30 pieces.
