Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 (1 lb.) pkg. lasagna noodles
    2 lb. bulk Italian sausage
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 cloves minced garlic
    1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes, undrained
    1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. basil leaves
    1/2 tsp. red pepper, crushed
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 (15 oz.) Ricotta cheese
    1 egg, beaten
    1/3 c. fresh parsley, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    4 c. Mozzarella, shredded
    1 c. Parmesan, grated
Preparation
    Prepare lasagna noodles according to package directions.
    In skillet, combine sausage, onion and garlic; cook until brown.
    Stir occasionally; drain.
    Stir in next 7 ingredients; bring to boil. Reduce heat; simmer 20 minutes.
    In medium bowl, blend Ricotta, egg, parsley and salt.
    Spread thin layer of sauce in 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
    Layer 1/3 each lasagna, remaining sauce, Ricotta mixture, Mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
    Repeat layers.
    Bake in 375\u00b0 oven until bubbly for 1 hour.
    Makes 12 servings.
