Fettuccine With Bacon And Red Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 small onion, sliced
    2 bacon slices, chopped
    3 garlic cloves, minced
    1 (7 oz.) jar roasted red bell peppers, drained and sliced
    1 c. frozen peas, thawed
    1/4 c. canned chicken broth
    12 oz. fettuccine, freshly cooked
    freshly grated Parmesan
Preparation
    Heat oil in heavy large skillet over medium-high heat.
    Add onion, bacon and garlic; cook until onion is tender and bacon is cooked, stirring occasionally about 8 minutes.
    Stir in peppers, peas and broth; simmer 1 minute.
    Transfer mixture to large bowl. Add pasta and toss well.
    Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve, passing grated Parmesan separately.
    Serves 4.
