Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa less 1 Tbsp.
1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3 eggs, separated
2 c. milk, scalded
2 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. margarine
1 (9-inch) pie crust
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients.
Beat egg yolk slightly.
Add milk and dry mixtures alternately to egg yolk.
Cook over medium heat until mixture thickens and boils.
Use double boiler.
Remove from heat. Add vanilla and margarine.
Mix thoroughly.
Pour in pie shell. Top with Cool Whip or meringue.
