Sweet Potato Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. cooking oil
4 eggs, separated
2 1/2 c. plain flour
2 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts
4 Tbsp. hot water
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. raw grated sweet potatoes
Preparation

Cream oil and sugar and add egg yolks, one at a time.
Blend thoroughly.
Then add the hot water.
Sift together all dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture.
Stir in potatoes and nuts.
Lastly, fold in egg whites, beaten stiff but not dry.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 35 minutes.
