Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 (14 oz.) can apples
1/4 c. raisins
2 Tbsp. chopped ginger
Preparation

Combine sugar, vinegar, salt and syrup drained from apples. Bring this to a boil, stirring as you add apples.
Cook slowly for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add raisins and ginger.
Cook 15 minutes, until thick.
Chill.
