Frozen Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. sliced cucumbers
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white vinegar
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1 large onion
Preparation
    Slice cucumbers and onions thin.
    Mix with salt.
    Refrigerate overnight (24 hours) in covered container.
    Drain and rinse. Return to container.
    Put on sugar and vinegar; stir and let stand 24 hours in covered containers in the refrigerator.
    Stir well, put in freezer container and freeze.
