Grits Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. water
    1 c. grits
    1 tsp. salt
    1 lb. sausage, browned and drained
    1 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
    1/2 c. milk
    1/4 c. butter
    4 eggs, beaten
Preparation
    In pan boil water and salt.
    Stir in grits.
    Reduce heat and cook 4 to 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat.
    Add small amount to eggs; return to pan.
    Stir in sausage and 1 cup cheese, milk and butter. Stir until butter melts.
    Pour into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes or until top begins to brown.
