Pickled Fish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. salt
    6 c. water
    2 c. white vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    4 oz. 7-Up
    4 oz. Port wine
    2 Tbsp. pickling spices
Preparation
    Fillet Northern and cut in 3/4-inch pieces.
    Soak in salt water (1 cup of salt to 6 cups of water) for 24 hours.
    Drain. Cover with white vinegar for 24 hours.
    Drain.
