Squash Puffs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. cooked squash, drained
    1 onion
    1/2 c. self-rising corn meal
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    pinch of pepper
    1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 egg, whipped
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls approximately the size of hush puppies into hot, deep oil; drain.
