Night-Before French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) long loaf French bread, sliced 1-inch thick
    8 large eggs
    3 c. milk
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    6 Tbsp. butter
    cinnamon to taste
Preparation
    Arrange bread in well-buttered 9 x 13-inch dish.
    Combine next 5 ingredients in bowl, mixing well.
    Pour over bread.
    Chill, covered, for 4 to 36 hours.
    Dot with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon.
    Place in cold oven.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes. Serve with syrup, honey, fruit-flavored yogurt, or fresh fruit.
