Pork Chops And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 pork chops
    2 Tbsp. oil
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 onion, sliced
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can beef consomme
    1/2 tsp. thyme
Preparation
    Salt and pepper the pork chops and brown in the oil.
    Remove pork chops from pan and set aside.
    Pour rice into the drippings in skillet and cook, stirring constantly until light brown.
    In a large casserole, place rice and add remaining ingredients.
    Lay pork chops on top, cover and cook for 1 hour at 350\u00b0 or until liquid is absorbed.
