Spritz Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups butter or margarine
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 cups flour
colored sugar or sprinkles

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Beat butter on medium speed until creamy. Add sugar, egg and vanilla, beat well. Add flour one cup at a time until mixed well. Dough will be soft. Do not refrigerate. Fill cookie press with dough. Press cookies onto baking sheet. Bake for 10 -12 minutes or until firm. Do not let them get brown.
