Scalloped Oysters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. oysters
    1 box soda crackers
    1 pt. half and half
    salt and pepper
    butter
Preparation
    Crumble 4 or 5 crackers for each layer.
    Layer oysters, dotted with butter and soda crackers in a 1-quart buttered casserole. Reserve oyster liquor and pour over finished layers.
    Pour half and half over all until it reaches top of casserole.
    Let rest for 1 hour before baking in refrigerator.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until brown and bubbly.
