Seven Minute Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
2 unbeaten egg whites
1/8 tsp. salt
1/3 c. water
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Place sugar, egg whites, salt, water and cream of tartar in saucepan over low heat.
Stir well.
Beat with rotary egg beater until mixture stands in peaks.
Remove from heat.
Add vanilla. Continue beating until cool.
Spread on cakes.
Covers 2 (8-inch) layer cakes.
