Buttermilk Scones - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/4 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3 heaping Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. grated orange peel (lemon can also be used)
    1/2 c. butter
    2 eggs
    1 1/4 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. orange extract
    1 c. raisins or currants
Preparation
    Cut butter into dry ingredients until evenly mixed.
    Add orange peel and raisins; stir well.
    Mix buttermilk, 1 egg and extract together, then add all at once to flour mixture; stir until blended.
